Our Parents' Association

A primary goal of the Stuyvesant High School Parents’ Association (StuyPA), as stated in the StuyPA’s bylaws, is to bring Stuyvesant parents into an active role in students’ academic and non-academic activities and to help establish a strong relationship between the home and the school.

To accomplish this goal, the StuyPA provides numerous opportunities for parents to participate in and at the school. The StuyPA maintains a strong relationship with the administration, faculty, and students in order to keep parents informed about educational and extracurricular activities. Through the StuyPA, parents can become more effective partners in their children’s education, in school governance, and in being a part of a supportive network for themselves.
