Making Meaning Stuy Event (1)

On Monday, November 2, the StuyPA is hosting a special event on Making Meaning in the Modern World with New York Times bestselling authors Kelly Corrigan and Jennifer Wallace.  Blending storytelling and the latest research, Kelly and Jennifer will examine how creativity, connection and what it means to truly matter help us navigate uncertainty, strengthen our relationships and build healthier schools and communities.

Attendees will leave inspired, encouraged and reminded that who they are and the work they do as parents and guardians matters.

This event is part of a 5-city nationwide tour sponsored by the Walton Family Foundation.  Tickets are being sold to the general public for $15, but with the code STUYPA, for our community, tickets are discounted to $5 for the first 300 purchasers.  The discounted Stuy community tickets can be purchased HERE; Ticket proceeds benefit the StuyPA.  You won’t want to miss this event!  Buy your tickets now and invite your friends!

A book sale and signing of Kelly and Jennifer’s books will take place after the main event, in the Stuy lobby.

To complement the research that will be discussed at “Making Meaning”, the StuyPA is conducting our own parent/guardian survey.  To have your views reflected in the conversation, please take this 3 minute survey by October 27!
