Come to PA General Meetings!
From the Parent Handbook: Meetings are designed with your needs in mind. Attendance will enrich your understanding of issues that directly affect your child. Our programs regularly present key members of the Stuyvesant community and well-informed guest speakers who make presentations on topics such as college admissions and financial aid.
Meetings are held monthly from September through June, with at least nine meetings a year, in the Murray Kahn Auditorium. Simultaneous interpretation in Korean and Mandarin is available. Meetings generally start at 7:00 PM. A "Meet and Greet" with refreshments is usually held before each meeting in the lobby in front of the auditorium. Attend School Leadership Team Meetings
Please see this section of the website for a description of the SLT. The SLT meets once a month, usually from 3:30 to 5:30 in Room 615A.
Executive Board Meetings
From the PA Bylaws: "The Executive Board will hold at least six Regular Meetings in each school year. The first Regular Meeting of the Executive Board will take place prior to the first General Meeting of the PA. All Regular Meetings of the Executive Board are open to the General Membership. Non-Executive members will have a voice, but no vote. Minutes of Executive Board Meetings will be kept by the Recording Secretary. The Executive Board may hold other meetings as it deems necessary with proper notice to the Executive Board Members."
Executive Board meetings start at 6:30 PM and are held in the Principal's Conference Room on the first floor. Please see the Calendar for dates of upcoming meetings.

Please check the website calendar and announcements sections regularly for information about school plays, concerts, and special lectures. Parents can also subscribe to student newspapers, which provide the students' perspective on life at Stuyvesant.
