Get Involved |
Please fill out the "Get Involved!" form
If you have not already done so, please fill out the PA "Get Involved!" form. By filling out and sending in this form, you can:
- ask to be listed in the Family Directory (the Directory will show your name, address, phone number, student’s name and graduation year; the form will also include a check-off option of not having your contact information included in the Directory);
- ask to be added to the PA listserv, which is the easiest and best way to keep up-to-date on PA news and events;
- request to be included in one of the PA Membership Outreach groups: Chinese, Korean, Russian, African-American, and Hispanic;
- request a Parent Buddy;
- enclose a donation, if you wish, to the PA;
- let the PA know whether you can volunteer, and indicate the volunteer opportunities you are interested in.
Please fill out the form even if you are only requesting to be added to the Family Directory or to the Listserv, but cannot volunteer!
To access the form, which is in pdf format, please CLICK HERE. Please print out the form, fill it in, and either mail it to the address on the top of the form or have your child bring the form to Peggy Harvey, Room 271.
Your PA thanks you!
Becoming involved in the PA is an excellent way for you to play an active role in your child's education and personal growth at Stuyvesant. The PA Executive Board invites you to join in the PA's endeavors to make our children's experience at Stuy as enriching and rewarding as it can be. In addition to filling out the "Get Involved!" form, we invite you to click on the links under the "Become Involved" menu heading to learn about all the ways you can participate.
Please note that all parents of Stuyvesant students are automatically members of the Parents' Association; no dues or donations are required. DOE regulations and the PA Bylaws define "parent" broadly to include: a mother, father, adopted parent, stepparent, guardian, and/or any person in a parental relation to a child, and/or persons who act in loco parentis (in place of a parent or legal guardian with whom the child resides or who has been designated by the parent or legal guardian) regarding the child's education.
